A respectful bow to those master craftspersons and sculptors we call our teachers – those who chiselled and hammered us into such magnificent shape. Every bit of success we have achieved and what we are today is indebted to their devotion and sacrifices.
This day is a mere remembrance and acknowledgment of it, though not one day goes by without a tribute to them.
There’s always some learning from almost every thing around us – from the living, including ourselves, to the non living.
From some we learn what to do, and from some what not to. Whatever it may be, there’s a learning, nevertheless.
As Kahlil Gibran said, ‘I have learnt silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant and kindness from the unkind; yet strangely, I am ungrateful to these teachers’.
